Make Noise Bangor

Having previously held parties in Brighton, Belfast, Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Bristol, Make Noise is back on tour for three more dates this autumn. The Make Noise manifesto remains the same: programming cutting edge electronic music events in some of the country’s best clubs and making entry 100% FREE in exchange for a piece of electrical recycling. Club goers Just need to bring something to hand over at the door; a broken mobile phone, hairdryer, TV or laptop - anything with a plug or a battery! Since it began, Make Noise has packed out clubs and recycled tonnes of electronic
waste.

The first autumn date takes place on Thursday 23rd October 2014 when Make Noise heads to Greeks in Bangor for a special one-off party with an all-Welsh cast of DJs and
live acts !

Headliners Bodhi have been on the Make Noise wishlist for quite a while now - we’re really happy to have confirmed them for our first date this year. Bodhi - aka Cardiff based Olly Howells and Luke Welsby - make a sound that’s a crystal clear rapture; their shows are funk influenced and offer a completely fresh take on dance music. Channeling the vibes of uplifting, dusty house into sleek modern bass music, their enchanting, dancefloor- ready vibe is already demanding considerable attention.

They’ll be joined by our second special guest and Bangor resident Ifan Dafydd. The prodigious new producer has already been grabbing the ears of Gilles Peterson, Jamie xx and others. We understand that Ifan has been bedding down in his studio working hard on new material so it’s brilliant to get him out to DJ for us on this rare appearance in his home town.

Support comes from Gwenno and Y Pencadlys + DJ sets from Tom Brady and Gavin Hogan (Strictly Underground), Shifty + Endaf!
