INDIE HAWKES UNDERCOVER live at The Golden Cross, Sutton St. Nicholas

Indie Hawkes, the vocalist, has been performing and recording for many years. She was signed to a minor label (IMMG – White Eagle Records), but decided to change paths and put Indie Hawkes Undercover together. Guitarist, Jay Blackwood, was her first port of call. He had provided guitar work on some of her studio work and was also her go to guitarist when she was performing. Next on the list was to find some brass! This came in the form of saxophonist Shaun Jefferson and trumpeter Nina Storm. Both of these players have been performing together for years and they have played for some big names, including Prince Charles and Camilla! Together, Indie Hawkes Undercover, have performed at many functions and some high level clients including Mrs Heinz (yes, of the baked bean variety).
