Gilgamesh Live

Gilgamesh Live has a reputation for showcasing some of today’s best up and coming musicians from around the UK. Gilgamesh Live continues that same trend by introducing an amazing selection of multi-talented artists. Throughout the whole of November and December acts such as, Khamsina and The Tuesday Syndicate will be gracing the Gilgamesh Live stage. Hosting Gilgamesh Live will be Rachel Rose singer songwriter who is all about the music, people and connecting. Rachel is currently working on her new album and has recently been asked to support Ray Quinn on his UK tour.

Gilgamesh Live is a night run by musicians for musicians. Every Wednesday from 8-late, it's free, it's relaxed and the building is a work of art on its own.

THE TUESDAY SYNDICATE: 26TH NOVEMBER
The Tuesday syndicate are a 5 piece folk rock outfit from North Devon taking influence from acts like Frank Turner, Mumford and sons, and Kodaline. Having just toured this year to places like the Isle of Wight festival and somersault festival they have just released their debut EP 'What It's Worth' and are soon to release a follow up. It's safe to say that they are wasting no time punching out everything from foot stomping slammers to beautifully Melodic instrumental work. Keep a close eye and a closer ear! www.thetuesdaysyndicate.com

EMMA KATE: 26TH NOVEMBER
Emma-Kate is a 19year old British singer/songwriter performing a mixed genre of pop, soul and modern jazz. She is currently finishing her studies at the academy of contemporary music (ACM) in Guildford and gigs regularly in the Surrey/ London area. https://twitter.com/emmakatemusic

BETSA COLLINS: 3RD DECEMBER
Betsa Collins is a young singer/songwriter who performs covers and a range of her own original songs. Her soft voice and acoustic guitar create a memorable and atmospheric performance. www.betsamusic.co.uk

KHAMSINA: 17TH DECEMBER
Theatrical and bold, Khamsina's work cannot be pigeon-holed to one genre alone. Her music takes you on a journey of sound, which is woven with dramatic and narrative elements often linked with mythology and fantasy. Enigmatic melodies create suspense and storytelling. With the use of freestyle jazz, electronic, ancient tribal instruments, choral vocals, or simply acoustic piano, Khamsina's work is always fresh, organic and prolific.
"Big voice and sense for the dramatic" Marc Burrows - The Guardian 2013
Khamsina released her EP 'Eleni' on June 6th.
