It's time to shine up those dancing shoes and digging out the fly threads because we've got one hell of a classy night in store for you. That's right, Mr Craig Charles is in the house, bringing his acclaimed Funk & Soul Club to The Cheese & Grain on Friday, 7th October.

The BBC radio host, actor and television personality is ready to transform The Cheese & Grain into a boisterous boogie land. He'll be showing off his back catalogue of seriously tangy tunes ranging from modern mash ups and classic takes of the wildest Funk & Soul around, plus some surprises thrown in to keep you guessing.

Nothing will quash the carnival atmosphere that Charles successfully induces at every show! There'll be some serious shuffling going down, so get ready for your body to throw some shapes that you didn't think you had in you.

DJ duo The Allergies are also in town. Fresh from dropping new album 'As We Do Our Thing' in May, these guys have been getting some major props for their latest single to drop 'Rock Rock' featuring the legendary Andy Cooper of Ugly Duckling and boy do they put on a show!

Straight outta Bristol, live support comes from the LBJB's, a Funk / Hip Hop hybrid boasting brass, organs, bass and a whole lot of rhythm! These guys have begun to garner serious attention in the UK with their residency in Left Bank, Bristol becoming one of the hottest tickets in town!

Sir Funk will be on hand to set the standards for the night, igniting the Funk flame with his collection of nifty anthems.
