Bigger Than Festival & The Doctor's Orders celebrate the History of Hip-Hop with this line up of many of London's best DJs!

Few musical genre's have lasted so long and changed to much. Having been born with DJs spinning two copies of Funk & Disco breaks it is now one of the most advanced forms of electronic music produced today. This very special FREE party will show all facets of this great music in all its forms with each DJ carefully selected to cover the era they most love in chronological order on the night so all you 80's Rap cats better get down early!

With the Breakin' Bread crew covering the breaks for us in room 2 we have downstairs dedicated to 40 years of Hip-Hop from Boom Bap to Trap. Ralphonze will be kicking the night off with set dedicated to the sounds of 80's Rap. Spin Doctor will then delve into one of the most influential periods of 1990-95. Chris Read then takes the torch to explore further into the classic sounds of 96-2000. Motive will be blessing us with his selections from one of the most creative periods in Hip-Hop as he brings us into the 21st Centuary with 2001-2005. CJ Beatz is one of the new school of DJs that is blowing up 1xtra so is our man for 2006 – 2010. Wrapping things up is the man behind the ever popular Hip-Hop Karaoke Rob Pursey who will be bringing us bang up to date.
