Bedmo Didco Presents #004 at Big Chill Bristol

In recent months, Bedmo Disco has brought talent from around the world to the Big Chill Bristol, with New York's Justin Vandervolgen and Amsterdam's Marcel Vogel jetting in to spice up the party.

For July's shindig, the Bedmo Disco boys have decided to look closer to home for inspiration, inviting some of the finest resident DJs Bristol has to offer to come and play rare "peaktime" slots.

Heading up a Bristol-heavy line-up will be PEOPLE LIKE US, an inimitable party crew and DJ duo whose events around the City - and across in East London - have become the stuff of legend. Joining the dots between disco (old and 'nu'), contemporary house and heavier flavours, People Like Us have a reputation for smashing the party hard. Anyone who saw their set after Bedmo Disco at Love Saves The Day - warming up for no less than Horse Meat Disco - will attest to their ability to make a dance floor move.

Following closely behind are the BODYWORK DJs, the resident selectors behind the Bodywork parties that have caused such a stir in Bristol since launching earlier this year. They have deep record collections, know how to work a dance floor, and giddily join the dots between disco, boogie, Afro flavours and proper house. They’ve been big supporters of the Bedmo Disco Presents parties - in fact, they were the first on the dancefloor when Marcel Vogel came to town - and it’s a pleasure to finally give them a chance to show their stuff at the Big Chill.

Study duties will be handled by Bath's Double 'O' Soul, who'll be digging into his crates of funk, hip-hop, reggae and soul. Downstairs, the Bedmo Disco boys - Awon, Five-Stylez and Sell By Dave - will be bookending the night, warming you up and sending you home happy.
