Clive Gregson Andy Roberts and Mark Griffiths

The band will be performing self penned tracks from their debut album Strings Attached, produced by John Wood (John Martyn, Nick Drake, Fairport Convention), which encompasses swing, folk, blues, ballads and beyond.

Before forming the trio, Mark Griffiths was the bass player in The Shadows (for 21 years), and prior to that he recorded and or toured with the Everly Brothers, Duane Eddy and Mark Knopfler.

Andy Roberts has played and recorded as a solo artist and with Pink Floyd, as part of the live band for The Wall. He has also played with Cat Stevens, Kirsty MacColl and Richard Thompson.

Clive Gregson’s partnership with Christine Collister, which ran between 1985 and 1992, was described as the state of the art in British folk rock by Rolling Stone magazine. Clive has also toured and recorded with Richard Thompson, Nanci Griffith and Boo Hewerdine with Eddi Reader.
