Snoop Teams Up With Diplo For New Record

Snoop Dogg is set to work with Diplo on his forthcoming reggae influenced album. Rebranding himself as Snoop Lion for the record, the rapper chose Diplo as his producer because he knows the genre well. Diplo has previously worked on reggae material with his dancehall project Major Lazer. He played Snoop his track ‘Get Free’, which the former G-funk artist loved and decided to make some songs in a similar style. The pair travelled to Jamaica to make the record as authentic as possible, making the most of the vibe and instrument from the country of reggae’s origin.
