Forget going skateboarding, House of Vans has pulled out all the stops for this House of Vans, youth culture week and is showing the all time classic documentary, Dogtown + Z-Boys. Directed by Stacy Peralta and Narrated by Sean Penn, Dogtown +Z-Boys is based and set in Santa Monica,Huntington Beach area in the 70’s and follows the success and early careers of legendary skateboarders such as Jay Adams, Tony Alva and Steve Caballero.
If you are into skateboarding and invest time into the culture, then this is one to mark in your diary, even if you’re not a big fan of skateboarding, this movie is still an important piece of filmmaking and I can say without doubt the cinematography alone will have you gripped from the start.
