No sound could be more current than that of the prime cut electronic pop of Elektralux. Fusing a raw power that miraculously references every discerning facet of urban dance music, from old to new, Elektralux maintain a contrasting and wholly masculine, uplifting vocal allure.
Combining the bedroom production dreams of Bath-based duo Martin Badder and David Power, who provide Drums and Keyboards respectively in the live-set, with dubby delay-guitar from Damian Simes, sharp back-ups from MC Erl Grey and the magnetism of front man Nik Walker’s unique vocal.
Set to release their debut single ‘Missing Out’ detailing the ever- ever present frustration of having an empty wallet! As Walker explains, “trying to impress a rich-girl while struggling with cut shifts on minimum wage is sadly bloody hard, especially in last years trainers."
Missing Out is available on 12†vinyl and digital download from all good music stores from Monday 10th August.
