Leeds based troubadour Testament, aka Homecut, has been a busy boy over the past few months. His long awaited (it’s been seven years since his first single) debut long-player, featuring guest spots from Corinne Bailey Rae, Soweto Kinch, J-Live, Andreya Triana and Ty was released to critical acclaim this June, and on July 24th he’s back to rock the Big Smoke.
Taking over Camden’s Jazz Cafe, New Bo host Testament’s 6 piece live show is a must-see, showcasing the beatboxing, singing and MCing that has been winning him rave reviews from the likes of Gilles Peterson, The Nextmen, Q Magazine and more. Support on the night comes from the world's finest flute wielding, piano playing, mandolin toting singer-songwriter – Laura J Martin – blending acoustics and electronica to appealing effect.
