iTunes hip-hop album of the year Award winner 2012

After winning the I-Tunes Rap / Hip-Hop album of the year award in 2012 for “People Hear What They See”, this summer ODDISEE will release 4 new albums… First off will be brand new collaboration album called Good Company featuring a raft of well known major artists. Following will be A sophomore solo album (follow up to People Hear What They See), a long player with his group Diamond District, called “March on Washington” plus finally a new instrumental album!

ODDISEE, born Amir Mohamed, is a MC/producer currently recording for independent heavyweight Mello Music Group (out of Tucson, Arizona) splitting his time between Brooklyn/NYC, Washington, DC and London, UK.

As a member of the Low Budget Crew, Diamond District, and as solo artist, he has released more than ten records with various labels. He worked with the likes of Steve Spacek, Portishead, Jazzy Jeff, Little Brother, Talib Kweli, J-Live, Jean Grae, MED, Georgia Anne Muldrow and many more. His work has been used by ESPN during the NBA finals and in commercials, and in sound bites for Adult Swim, DC Shoes, and Quiksilver.
