REVIEW: Another Party Presents Sven Väth @ Pulse London

Pulse, London is in an impressive venue and could easily go undetected if you didn't know it was there. Located underneath Blackfriars Bridge I entered the first room featuring a NEXO sound system that sounded absolutely amazing.
James Manero kicked off the night with some quality techno beats, and he kept the tunes rolling and the crowd on its toes without giving too much away. It was techy and got the crowd bouncing. You could see the impact that Papa Sven had on the crowd, with a completely packed out dancefloor everyone was already partying hard. With the archways of Blackfriars Bridge as an amazing backdrop with the projection mapping on the stage exploding into life, gave us some great visuals to dance to. The VOID sound system in the main room was pretty much perfect with outstanding clarity and power. What was supposed to be a six hour set, eventually turned into an eight hour long marathon with a gradual crescendo to the mix. Dropping some fine deep house to get things bubbling he worked the crowd into a gradual frenzy by progressively taking it harder and faster into the realms of hard banging techno towards the end of the evening. At about 8am the crowd had been slowly ebbing away leaving the hardcore ravers to do their thing. Another Party presented us with some of the best techno on offer in London today. Sven absolutely smashed it and was the perfect way to celebrate his move to London this year. It has to be said along with the music, venue and the production this party was one of the best parties I have gone to in a while. We just can’t wait for the next event on 1st November at Pulse, prepare yourself for what will be another huge night.
The next Another Party will be held at Pulse London on 1st November. The lineup includes Boris Werner, Tevo Howard, Bodycode, Portable Live / James Manero and a very special guest who is yet to be announced. So keep your eyes peeled here for an announcement very soon.
