Winter Sessions Weekender

WHAT’S ON?

The beauty of being a boutique festival means you shouldn’t miss any of the main attractions as we direct you from one event to the next – a growing mass of party revelers soaking up the jaw dropping surroundings of the fabulous Chamonix valley.
The festival officially kicks off from Friday 30th March at 17:00 with an Apres Ski warm up session featuring some of the best loved local acts from the Chamonix valley.
Throughout the weekend, Chamonix will host a series of gigs and events in a variety of locations across the valley. Every section has its own stamp and brings something new and exciting to the festival.
Live music is a feature but by no means the only thing going on at the festival. From the ‘Alpine Cake Bake Off’ to the mega ‘Mountains Sessions’ we pride ourselves in bringing non stop entertainment both on and off the mountains.
The detailed programme of events will be published here at the start of March.

WHERE?

Driving into the Chamonix there are a number of feelings, only those who have experienced can possibly imagine. Your stomach empties, a tingle of excitement and a glow of adrenaline rush through your body. Simply the name ‘Chamonix’ is enough to spark excitement in the most hardened of seasonaires. Lying in the foothills of Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc, the sheer beauty of this location is enough to bring you back year after year. However, this is not the reason that we come this Chamonix is it. Rather the gnarly terrain, unequaled off piste and a warm feeling of being surrounded by people who live and dream the same things as you do. Even strolling through town you can feel the magnificent vibe of the place. Dawn breaks and you will see skiers and boarders alike fiesting on fine french breakfasts (croissants) while running around juggling ropes and carabeeners getting organised for what could be the most epic day of their lives. Chamonix is the oldest ski resort in France, and is a perfectly functioning year round town. This means the valley benefits from a wealth of culture and community that other purpose built ski resorts simply don’t have.
