Shir Khan is bringing us the best of Exploited

House | Thursday 28th July 2016 | Christina

Dance music legend Shir Khan is bringing us the best of his Berlin label Exploited with compilation album Shir Khan Presents: Dancing & Romancing.

Since forming in 2007, Exploited has broken a whole host of electronic talent - the label's back catalogue includes music from Julio Bashmore, Metronomy and Fort Romeau, and they turned Claptone from an unknown artist into one of the biggest names in the dance arena. Dancing & Romancing will showcase the best of the label's past five years, delving into their diverse roster and depth of talent.

Mammoth deep house dance-floor fillers such as Claptone’s ‘No Eyes’ and Mike Dunn’s ‘Let’s Get To It’ sit alongside progressive, forward-thinking tracks such as Light Year’s ‘Never Know’ and Sirens Of Lesbos’ ‘7 Years In Tibet’. The project also features fan favourites such as Adana Twins’ ‘Strange’ and Dr Dru’s ‘Voice Of Doctor’.

Dancing & Romancing will be released as a double CD and triple vinyl in September - with many label classics appearing for the first time on wax - and is sure to become essential listening.
