The biggest dnb collabs, according to Sub Zero

Drum & Bass' best collabs, according to Sub Zero

The Collab EP is the latest project from long time Playaz producer and one half og G Dub, Sub Zero. Furthering his undeniable talents, the producer has sat down with four of jump up's biggest names to fix up a killer 4 tracker, built directly for the floors. Majistrate, Jaydan, Dub Motion and DJ Limited all collaborated with him producing a hefty final product that sums up the current jump up style. Big, heavy, nasty beats.

The EP is a beacon to why collabs are so good, taking incredible talents to the next level! After hearing it we had collabs on our mind and wanted to know what Sub Zero's favourite drum & bass collabs are - so he's sorted us a list of his top 5 - and it's huge!

Shy FX & T Power - Murderation

"Love this tune. Absolute classic too, came out about 10 years ago I think and have just started playing it my sets again. Got that classic stab he used at the start of original nutta which is sampled from Cypress Hill's 'Insane in the Membrane' and of course those Rodigan samples!!!"

Voltage & Nicky Blackmarket - Jazz Tickles

"Sick roller with a vintage V Recordings 90s vibe from that golden age of DnB. Proper jungle! Will never get old"

Noisia & The Upbeats - Dead Limit

"Monster of a tune that destroys any dancefloor! Bassline and reace bass is next level. DnB at its absolute finest! No one can touch their production skills on this one"

Ed Rush, Optical & Fierce - Alien Girl

"Probably one of the greatest records ever made - this and 'Cutslow' on the flip side. Came out Grooveriders legendary imprint Prototype. Tune is so dark but so beautifully simple and executed to such perfection. Oh and that bassline must have been sampled by thousands of producers, myself included! Timeless classic and anyone who was anyone had this on 12 inch in the late 90s. Sounds like it was made on another planet"

Mefjus & Emperor - Disrupted

"Killer track with a bassline that is so hard it could take your head clean off your shoulders. Militant drum beat which is super tight and brilliantly engineered - oh and the sample from the usual suspects. New school DnB at its best!"
