Glass City Vice are a Brighton band who have been slated to become pretty big in the coming months. Made up of Josh Oliver, Lawrie Miller, Dudley Powell and Edward Lytton Cobbold, the boys describe themselves as an Alternative Pop Rock band and they’ve played over 200 shows in the UK. They’ve also supported contemporaries such as The Xcerts and Freeze The Atlantic. They're tireless hard work in the studio has earned them favourable reviews from magazines like NME and a rapidly growing fanbase across the UK.
The band have released two EPs to date, the first in 2011. They also have a couple of great singles up on YouTube, ‘In My Head’ released in August 2012 and ‘Have To Say’ released in April of this year. The band have a great sound, and their instrumental talent is evident. The production of their videos is quite frankly stunning for such a young band, and they're talent showcases itself with a polished poppy vibe. Glass City Vice have worked with studio producer and Mercury nominee Jag Jago, and they’re currently doing a lot of work in the studio, so I’m sure we can expect big things from them soon.
