'Goosebumpz' is the second and newest track to be released from the album, after the almost title track 'Watching Movies'. Diplo's production on 'Goosebumpz' is great, dropping a dry sounding southern rap/trap beat supported by these catchy, bouncy horn sounds, with an underlay courtesy of this spacious, powerful sub-bass rumbling throughout, nicely contrasted with the rattling high hats on the high end. Miller's rapping is on this track is also great. Miller's been accused of being 'corny' or 'cheesy' in the past and I feel like he addresses this very early on into the tune. He raps 'I been making my money, thankgod I learned to act right', hinting that his previous endeavours have just been money making projects, tailored to appeal to the mainstream, or the kind of audience that he knows will put money into his work (see 2010's 'K.I.D.S'). Check out Miller's 'Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza' from 'K.I.D.S'

and compare it to a more recent release, 'Salamander' from the April 'Funkmaster Flex Mixtape':

Both tracks have great production, but the outstanding difference in the two are Miller's bars. The latter shows a more mature, adult Miller that I'm sure we're going to see more of from now on. In 'Goosebumpz' Miller raps about girls, cocaine and money, quite removed from the lyrical content in his earlier releases, such as 'Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza', embedded above, which tended to focus on weed and living in suburbia. I've never been a massive Miller fan but it feels like now he has the opportunity to put out music like this, this is what he's going to be releasing from now on. With features and producers like Action Bronson, Ab-soul and Diplo this is an album to watch, whether you're a Miller fan or not. Listen to it here:
