Verbal Contact | Set The Mood

Leeds based hip-hop crew Verbal Contact consists of MCs Matter and Prys and producer Sonar Cousin. The trio merged together naturally after a previous hip hop group they were part of, Northern Lights ceased to be a while back.
As for the sound - the lyrics are charismatic, the flow faultless, the hooks irresistible and the beats delicious. The most recent release ‘Set the Mood’ exemplifies all this with it’s chilled, jazzy and melodic vibe.
A debut album Blue In The Face is due December 15th but for now watch the ‘Set The Mood’ video which (forgive the pun) does indeed set the mood to this track masterfully. You can also watch the video for an earlier track, ‘Deteste’ below that.
