The eagerly awaited third installation in this hugely successful compilation series is discharged from Hospital Records on the 26th of this month.
Spread across 2 discs, the 26 tracks include previously unheard remixes and additions from emerging artists.
Opening with the instantly euphoric ‘Major Happy’ from golden boys Fred V and Grafix, another huge sound is Optiv and CZA’s ‘In Too Deep’, packing a punchy bass line and ice cool vocals. Netsky is back on remix duties, reworking French dance sensation Madeon’s ‘Finale’. Med School offers a pulsating and exciting release courtesy of Lung, and duo Technimatic add their trademark liquidicity and flow with ‘The Golden Section’. The final track ‘Walk the Distance’ from Frederic Robinson is one of my favourites; a beautifully crafted minimal sound with haunting vocals from Vicky Harrison.
My top track 'Wish You Were Here' from High Contrast’s latest album is given the S.P.Y touch and Ad Gannon provides a heavy listen with ‘Tank’ in Disc 2. ‘Noelles Eloquence’ from Galimatias remixed by S.I.N is my personal highlight and Ukrainian producers Pluton and Skyer’s ‘Cosmic Rain’ is a super chilled climaxer. Huge kudos to Muffler, whose outstanding ‘Dribble’ is unleashed in an exclusive VIP.
Alongside pre-ordering your copy today, the album will be given the full treatment at its launch on the 8th December.
As part of ‘Lovebox After Dark’, High Contrast, Total Science and S.P.Y amongst others will be playing at Fire, Vauxhall. Further information here: http://www.facebook.com/events/427513637310476/
