This girl is for #Real
If you don’t know who Ayah Marar is, you should. A darling amongst drum and bass artists and producers alike, she has just dropped her hotly anticipated album ‘The Real’ on her own imprint, HUSSLE GIRL.
She burst onto the scene last summer, working with Wretch 32 producer Yogi to come up with dubstep tune ‘Follow U’; a massive hit that was snapped up by Ministry of Sound. Following a number of remixes, Ayah became an established triumph on YouTube, and this was only heightened by the subsequent collaboration with drum and bass sensation Camo and Krooked – ‘Cross the Line.’
This was pretty much the tune of 2011, gaining massive success and was released on Hospital Records. Her album, which features the beasty tunes ‘Mind Controller’ and ‘Unstoppable’, is a brilliantly strong collection which establishes this London based girl as a leading player in today’s dance music.
