Things are going to get dark and dirty this weekend as Edinburgh’s Hidden Orchestra return to London for a live showcase of their forthcoming album “Archipelago” which is due out on October 1st.
Now here is your chance to win two tickets to see these visionaries breaking beats wide open in East London’s Village Underground. All you have to do is head over to the Guestlist Network Twitter page here and RT this feature.
Success is coming thick and fast for this Scottish collective, following a sold out XOYO show back in May. Now Joe Acheson and company return to the Big Smoke for another mesmerising live show which will go on late into the night.
Joining them on the bill will be MPC wunderkid Anchorsong who will be playing live with his string quartet. Be among the first in London to glimpse some of the new material from the upcoming album, which follows the much lauded “Chapters” release. Prepare yourself for a musical voyage across computerised soundcapes which incorporate all the latest loops in tech.
DJ Kentaro will also be in the building adding more depth and quality to the line-up. He stands out as one of the most innovative turntablists working today and has recently subverted his sound, turning his attention to even heavier, dirtier motifs!
