Romney shits on his own doorstep

The Republican candidate doesn’t need strong opponents to destroy his public image. His own words secretly recorded and uploaded which by now will be the most viewed video on YouTube, killed any chance of him becoming President.
The non-profit news organization that specializes in investigative, political, and social justice reporting called Mother Jones, is now Romney’s worst enemy. The publication got a video in which Romney says that his job is “not to worry about those people”, referring to the 47 per cent of Americans who vote Obama, “who believe that they are victims” and that “the government has a responsibility to care for them”. Why should he even care about half of the country’s population if they are not going to vote him? That’s a waste of time. So he’s planning to focus on the five to ten percent in the centre who vote “one way or the other depending upon in some case emotion, whether they like the guy or not”. Let’s face it; Romney is lazy.
Well, we still have to see what the consequences of this coming out will be, but in terms of public image I think it’s worse than the Lewinsky or even Watergate scandals in terms of publicity, as he is criticizing people’s criteria to govern themselves, and that hurts. Especially if he was willing to like those in the centre, just a bit of advice, I know House’s assertive model to be mean with people no matter what gains many followers and makes him look cool, but that’s real life, so calling people stupid and easy to manipulate is not going to make them like you.
As if this wasn’t enough, he pronounced those words in a donors’ dinner, 50,000 dollars per person, hosted at a polemic multimillionaire’s house called Marc Leder who apparently is famous for buying companies, firing their workers and declaring them bankrupt and organizing sex parties. There is still seven weeks until the US presidential election, but I think there’s not much that can be done, and Obama should do something really hardcore to fall lower than Romney, for example declare the State communist or forbid the Catholic religion. I’m not really interested in political debates because I don’t like to feel disappointed when all the promises they made me aren’t fulfilled, but on the 3rd October I’m going to watch it just to see how Romney manages to deny and turn all this stuff around to get it in his favour. Mission impossible!
