Happy Mondays announce two dates at the Roundhouse
The influential Manchester band has revealed two back to back gigs at the Roundhouse in Camden this December.
One of the most historic bands to emerge from the Manchester scene, the band will play two intimate shows on the 18th and 19th December with support from 808 state and special guests.
The Happy Monday’s first official release was way back in September 1985 and 2012 saw the first return to the original line up of the band. Noted for the influence of dance genres their tracks were often favourites for remixes by DJ’s.
They recently performed at V festival and look to take the stage at Ibiza Rocks later this summer. The Salford boys have also announced they are writing material together for the first time in over 20 years.
If their new material comes anywhere near to their already impressive back catalogue this show is one not to miss and if worse comes to worst you can always just enjoy Bez’s dancing.
