Lily Allen Set for Comeback
The singer has announced that she has plans for rebranding and releasing a new album.
The 27 year old from Hammersmith, London found fame in late 2005 leading to her releasing her debut album Alright, Still which sold over 2 million copies worldwide and her debut single from the album ‘Smile’ reached number one in the charts. Allen was renowned for her witty, street lyrics and distinctive talk singing style. She released her second album It’s not me, it’ you in 2009 which further debuted at number one in the album charts. Later that year Allen began her musical hiatus lasting for over three years following her subsequent marriage to husband and builder Sam Cooper and family commitments after that.
However it appears Allen is set to make a return under her married name Lily Rose Cooper and has announced she is in the studio recording new material to release under her new name. This news is sure to make fans smile.
