Brand New Partyson Release

 

 

Out now on Plush Recordings, this two song release from Russian beat maker Partyson is really something special.

 

Both Songs feature a sound reminiscent of the old school. Opening track 'Purple Clouds' is a really deep, moody, atmospheric track that’s just dying to be blasted out of subs everywhere. The song progresses in a great way, featuring a mid section where the drums go double time, giving it a jungle/garage feel, it just has old school written all over it, which we love.

Second track ‘Forget Me Not’ is slightly more synth driven, but again sticks with the old school flavour of dubstep from the past, minimal, dark, bass heavy and extremely atmospheric. Partyson has taken his influences that consist of some of the UK’s finest old school Dubstep and Garage artists and preserved the old school sound of dubstep that today is rapidly dying out. Older material from Partyson is definitely worth a listen for anyone missing what dubstep once was and craves that old school sound.
