KrossBow Konnect 4 EP Release (30/5/2012) Review

Released today [30/5/2012], KrossBow (Simplify Records) have unleashed a four song EP titled Konnect4 that can only be described as stomping. Featuring four super bass heavy tracks, its a great additions to your summer playlist. The EP opens with ‘Psycho Bounce’ and trust, with name like that you should set your expectations high, but KrossBow don’t disappoint with this absolute banger that’ll have everyone psycho bouncing. Giving no time to recover the second track ‘Knuckle Shuffle’ is even heavier and darker, it makes you want to find the nearest warehouse and have KrossBow as the soundtrack to your Saturday night rave.  Keeping the energy on max, third track ‘Out Of Fear’ could be mistaken as a track from the Tron soundtrack, the only things missing are neon lights and space suits. Final track ‘Konnect’ is the most eclectic and interesting, while still of course remaining heavy. The track begins with an electro-esque section that would be fitting in a Boys Noize mix, followed by a hardstyle bounce that would have Scottish jumpstyle ravers on fire, wait theres more, after a dubstep drop, KrossBow throw in a wild card and add a drum n bass section. Basically this track is going to smash your face in. Set your summer off right and check out KrossBow to get your fill of Mid-tempo filth.
