Lost Ring Finds Its Way Back After 45 years
Brent Aguirre lost a class ring 45 years ago. He graduated the class of 1966 Bonneville High school. The ring was a gift from his parents during his senior year, but after six months it was lost and the most upsetting part of all was Mom and dad spent good money on it. “It’s a beautiful ring” he said.
But the years of improving technology and social media sites helped reunite him with the ring. After joining facebook he got an email from acouple. After ignoring the first email he received a second one explaining they had his class ring and would be happy to return it. They had found the ring while cleaning out a desk drawer in their Sandy, Utah, home last fall. Engraved with Brent Aguirre’s name on the inside, they set out to find its owner, finally making the connection via Facebook.
