The World’s elite dancers go head-to-head at the UK B-Boy Championships
On the 14th October 2012 Crazy Legs and Afrika Islam will be welcoming over 5,000 fans to the 02 Academy Brixton for the world’s #1 dance battle, the 17th annual UK B-Boy Championships World Finals. Prepare to be blown away by some of the worlds best break dancers, hip-hoppers and body poppers as they battle head to head to win the coveted awards given at the grand competition.
London’s home grown ‘Soul Mavericks’ b-boy crew will represent the nation in this year’s Finals, battling some of the best dancers from around the world. After thrashing the competition at the National Championships, the soul brothers will be hoping to impress the world-class judging panel, made up of leading international dancers including Storm, Lamine and Mouse.
Also flying the flag in the solo competitions will be 7 of the UK’s finest; Sunni, Spin, Brooke, Marvel, Dickson, Kashmir and Marcio and if that isn’t enough, the performances from ‘Robot Boys,’ and tiny dancers ‘Danji Juniors’ between battles will be holding the audiences attention close.
