Ferguson Solidarity Tour hits London this month

The Ferguson Solidarity Tour has been initiated by: Defend the Right to Protest, United Families & Friends Campaign, London Black Revs, NUS Black Students Campaign.

The Reverend Osagyefo Sekou is known for his passionate speeches and active protest in favour of racial equality and justice for its victims. He will be speaking alongside other individuals who have suffered from this and unfair policing, including Carole Duggan, Marcia Rigg, Janet Alder and others. The tour will visit Tottenham, Brixton, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton and other cities.

 

 

The tour aims to spread the message of recent events and rally support for victims and families of those affected not just in the US. but also in Britain. In the past few months there has been a huge surge in activity of protests in the UK demanding justice for the killings of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, bringing conversation of racial inequality and corrupt policing to the forefront.

Rev Sekou will be touring the UK between 23 January and 30 January 2015.
