An Interview with Sneakbo

Sneakbo is a big player on the UK Grime scene and it has been this way for the last few years. With a number of successful singles and collaborations under his belt, we caught up with him to talk about the launch of his new EP - Certified, his top musical gulity pleasures, and having crab claws for hands...
Safe G! How has the response been since you dropped the 'Real G' video?
The response has been really good, people didn't expect me to collaborate with those rappers. Overall its been a good link up.
Rightly so, you enjoy a good collaboration, how was it working with Fekky & Snap Capone for Real G? Is there a favour element there, that you'd maybe return on a few of their tracks?
We all make music and I always work with people that I like so, its always gonna be a relationship where we go studio together & make tracks together.
Tell us about your new EP, 'Certified' - what can we expect from it? Will there be a different vibe to your previous mixtapes?
With the EP Certified Its gonna be the same Sneakbo as the jetski wave, but the quality of production and collaborations are better.
You've got a lot of big guests appearing, the likes of Krept & Konan, Gappy Ranks and Angel all pop up, what will they be bringing to help you out?
They will be bringing different influences in sound. They're adding their own vibes to the mixtape, which helps it become overall a finished piece.
Outside of Rap, what musicians do you rate? Any surprises in there, a guilty pleasure perhaps?
I like Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé and I listen to a lot of Vybz Kartel and dancehall in general.
