REVIEW: Circus Two presented by Cookie Monsta and Funtcase

As is often the case with compilation albums, a surplus of material is always expected and this one is without exception; however Circus Two manages to avoid sacrificing quality in the name of quantity with 25 bass-driven tracks on what is a mammoth feature length album in the world of short release electronic music. While Circus Records have built up a reputation as a leading dubstep record label, this album represents an evolution in the versatility of its growing roster, still armed with a bass cannon that will shake the dance floor. This album feels like it has been tailored to satisfy fans of Circus Records’ early fanbase (they still produce some of the best tearout dubstep around) as well as their new American fans that embrace the term EDM.
