The Kills Dream and Drive

 

Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince of The Kills fame have revealed they will be releasing a photography book to celebrate their ten years together as a band. Mosshart and Hince are known for their penchant for hazy, vintage toned photos and the book Dream and Drive features photos taken by Kenneth Cappello of the band throughout their tours.

The photos offer an insight into the chaotic and exciting lives of the band members. Hince tells us that the compilation of the book made him reminisce about the band and the good times he had shared with Alison –

“You remember the reality of some of these shows and then you see the pictures and realise we were playing to about 25 people. Yet somehow this magic would come, this faith that we were going to really do something.”

The Kills are currently working on material for the follow up to last year’s ‘Blood Pressures’ and the photography book will be out in the upcoming months on August 16.
